Split is linked to the international railway network. There are three or four trains per day between Split and Zagreb, which is connected to major European cities such as Budapest, Vienna, Munich, Berlin, etc.
The railway station is very near the ferry port. Just come out of the railway station, and you will see the ferry waiting to take you to the island!
