• Stari Grad (antique town of Pharos) was founded 385 B.C. as a colony by the ancient Greeks from the island of Pharos. Traces of the past can be seen everywere in the narrow streets, and the surrounding fields laid out according to the ancient cadastre system that has been preserved to the present day.
