If you're coming to Stari Grad, you need to come by the ferry. There is a beautiful ferry ride either from Split or from the Italian city of Ancona.

Ferries from Split to Stari Grad go three to five times per day, and ferry ride lasts for an hour and 45 minutes. Once the ferry arrives in Stari Grad, it takes only a few minutes by car or bus to arive at our small hotel.

Another option is to take the ferry from Drvenik to Sucuraj, which takes only 30 minutes. From Sucuraj, it takes more than an hour to get to Stari Grad by car or bus. The advantages of this option are a beautiful scenary to Stari Grad – but drive with care, and an opportunity to see more Dalmatian coastal towns and villages on the way to Drvenik (on the see road from Split to Ploce and Dubrovnik.)
